Knox County Fair ended on Saturday July 26 and the whole crew moved over to Medina, dropping me in Wooster so that I could have one night for the Internet as well as Pavel and Tereza had during the previous week. Kelly took me and boys to Medina on Sunday afternoon. Everything was already set up. It was the first fair where Ryan needed also other people to work so the six of us moved to our "old" Puma Unleashed camper while he stayed in the new Puma with Dorothy and possibly some family members. We got some money to have a dinner in our favorite Chinese Buffet and then also for cinema. Same like last year, we went to the Regal Movie Theater. Peter, Tomas and Tereza chose Hellboy 3; Pavel, Mike and I chose Stepbrothers, which turned out to be a really funny comedy. After this relaxing evening we went to sleep and then woke up to a beautiful sunny day - working day though. Most of time I worked in Gyros with Dorothy and Tommy; just one afternoon I worked in Lemonade with Mike and Mike - Ryan's dad.
Dorothy Brooks is a 71-year-old lady from Tennessee; you might remember her from last year. She is admirably healthy for her age and relatively energetic. I don't mind working with her and she likes working with me so we get along. In slow hours both of us read our books - Dorothy reads her love novels and I have got immersed in Into the Wild. She's fine but not the right person to ask about vocabulary. She wasn't able to explain me any complicated word I asked her about. Then I would go to French Fries trailer to ask Todd who teaches History at high school.
The weather in Medina was perfect and I went running in town almost every day. I enjoyed running in quiet streets, peeking at porches I was passing, encountering kids on bikes or in-line skaters, and occasionally bending myself a bit under lowest branches of trees that bordered some of the town roads.
